I definitely have a nemesis! I wouldn’t say hate but I have been ragingly jealous of her far more successful writing career for YEARS. Though less so now than i used to be. The idea that this targeted jealousy might help me avoid more generalized jealousy has never occurred to me before, but it might have!

I’m happy to oblige. Even if it’s petty. But we can’t fix capitalism or celebrity or anything else, but we can pick someone to be mad at for sanity.

I love the Nemesis approach. I've found that my RSD is so strong that I have to frame my tasks as if someone else is telling me to do them, so the Nemesis approach could also change my manifestations--may not be mature, like you said, but sometimes maturity is a bit overrated!
