She has another book called Paradise Built in Hell that's more detailed along the same thing and is actually my favorite. But most people read the shorter essays in Hope in the Dark and that's also really good. Just came to mind as I read your piece.
I enjoyed reading more about your healing work (I sent three years getting a psychology degree in a very "woo woo" program where Eastern philosophy meets Western psychology so I can now usually talk about it without feeling completely ridiculous using the term) :-p
