The only thing I really dislike about aging is the cumulative losses. I didn’t have that before age 25 and it’s only been 8 years since then. How bad will it get in 10 years even?
So glad Chicago treated you well, it was an honor to be part of it (thanks for the disclaimer about our glowing expressions, we are still full of raaaggge!) Your Sufjan ritual is fabulous. And a major ugly cry sounds like a mighty stress release. Looking forward to an espresso martini when things are better…all things go, all things go. ♥️
So relate, Kari. What else is new? It’s such an emotional time right now. I’m glad you had a great visit in Chicago and it was so wonderful to chat with you and the phenomenal Eileen for a few minutes. I loved it. Sending you hugs and more love ❤️
It was so fun to get to chat! And definitely let me know when you are here....I know we briefly discussed dates and etc but my brain is swiss cheese these days.

To be continued. With more martinis 🍸
All things go, indeed they do. Loving on you from down here in NC in the meantime.

Wow, great writing and great sharing and such truth about so many of us. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
I loved this, Kari. The joy, the sadness. They live side by side.
